Apologetics and Kingdom Building
Welcome. I've revived this old blog as an alternative to adding to the flood of COVID-19 messages in your email inbox. While we adapt to the changing conditions of the pandemic I'll update this page once a week to with an overview of student progress and future direction. As always, you can reach me by email or phone if you have questions or would like to discuss your child's education more specifically. Contact information can be found in the school directory or on PowerSchool. My main connecting point with students is Google Classroom. Assignments and resources are posted there, and it is a place where students can chat with me. Have them share their work with you and explain what they are learning and doing.
I spend most of the day adding feedback to student work, interacting with students online, and reaching out to students who are struggling to engage in the remote learning activities. As the weeks pass this results in students who are in very different places with their course work. If you feel your student would benefit from additional work, please, let me know, and we can make arrangements that suite your family's needs. Here is what your student will be doing for Apologetics this week (last updated June 7):
- The Four Worldview Questions
- Part two of this assignment will have students reviewing two key concepts by digging into scripture to support foundational questions about the world and our place in it.
- Transformation Time (assignment details here)
- By the end of the week I will be posting the final reflection prompts for this project.
